‘Lift-and-Slide’ patio doors are the ideal solution for rooms requiring a lot of sunlight or for buildings situated in panoramic areas where large glass windows enable you to enjoy a complete view of the landscape. Moreover they offer maximum accessibility to the outside.

Another advantage of the ‘Lift and Slide System’ is that it requires very little space, useful where the installation of conventional swing open doors and windows would not be possible or would be obtrusive.

The aesthetic appearance of the door is pleasing and always in harmony with the architectural requirements of the building. The system is very flexible and allows the customer to close very wide openings by installing a series of multiple ‘Lift and Slide’ doors.

The size of the framing and the need for safe and silent movement of the sliding doors requires hardware of adequate resistance and precision. The AGB lift and slide hardware systems satisfy every possible requirement. Assemblies with one or more moveable doors can be installed with no limit in number.

Specifications

  • The Sashless ‘Lift and Slide’ Door System can be used in conjunction with our ‘Grampian’ range of windows and screens, for larger areas of curtain walling where communal terrace or patio areas are to be enjoyed to the outside
  • Where level access (mobility situations) is required this can be achieved by setting the timber cill into the structure; this is clearly an important consideration during building design
  • Sashless ‘Lift and Slide’ Door System uses highest quality Italian AGB gear for easy ‘lift and slide’ operation
  • Lock: The sturdy casing is in sheet steel with options of 27.5mm or 37.5mm and houses a euro-profile cylinder
  • Carriages: The strong precision carriages which support the moveable doors ensure easy lifting, perfect sliding, smooth and silent operation. The front and rear carriage are connected by a cut-to-size steel link rod
  • Handle options: satin chrome or polished brass
  • Special aluminium cover cill in silver finish
  • Standard configuration provides key locking and handle to inside only with flush finger pull to outside
